Painting a picture, playing an instrument, or practicing a sport, everyone has a unique passion they devote themselves to. But, imagine if something came in between you and your passion. Aaron Castro and I discovered a girl who has found herself in this situation. Alex Duran is an Optional gymnast, at Balcony Gymnastics. Practicing four days a week for three hours a day she is, un doubtfully, in love with the sport. However, she was only six years old when doctors diagnosed Alex with diabetes.
