Caring PSA
Three students from the 2011 Student Television Network Convention Team participated in a live, on-site PSA competition in which they were only given 5 hours to produce a segment based upon the phrase, “character counts.” VHS junior, Rachel Wilson, and freshmen, Lisa Ly and Eliana French, produced the 30-second spot by setting up lights and a backdrop inside their hotel room in Orlando, near the site of the convention. VHS Junior Wins National ‘Sports Highlights’ Contest
Knightly News Sports reporter, Nikko Tan, won a national Sports Highlights contest at the Student Television Network national convention in Orlando on Saturday, March 12th. The convention hosted nearly 2,000 students who all competed in on-site competitions over a four-day span. The event was sponsored by Max Preps and featured many of the nation’s best high school TV sports producers. CONGRATULATIONS NIKKO!
