Executive Producers

Sydnee Geril: Sydnee is an IB senior at Vanguard High School who has been dedicated to the TV program for 3 years. She is an Executive Producer for Knightly News. She plans to pursue a Broadcast journalism career after high school. In addition to her active involvement in the TV program, Sydnee is an advanced gymnast at Balcony. Even in Sydnee’s spare time, she is helping the younger students and older students to produce work that Vanguard High School can be proud of. With so many students looking up to her leadership, she does not disappoint and inspires the best quality work. “The two most important days of your life are the day you were born and the day you realize why” -Mark Twain. These are words that she lives by and from what we can gather, Sydnee has already experienced both of those precious days.

Christopher Polack: Chris is an IB junior at Vanguard High School who has been dedicated to the TV program for 2 years. He also an Executive Producer for Knightly News. He plans to rule the world when he is older. In addition to this he also, is going to pursue an engineering career. In his spare time he enjoys photography, robotics, producing films, and tinkering with things. Even though he has only been involved with the Vanguard TV program for two years, he is a major piece of the puzzle. He’s known as the “tech wiz” and whenever the team needs his help, Chris never fails to give his words of wisdom. Chris brings a level of technical knowledge and savvy that is very critical to the survival and growth of the program.
